Info for March 13th, 2004
So I did a complete make over of the web site. Very few visual changes though will be noticeable to anyone who visits. Basically though I made the pages smaller and more efficient so the site would load faster and be easier to update. I also redid all the images to have cool drop shadows on all the thumb nails. I'm hoping to add some more new content soon, other than adding more DVDs, haha, I'm out of control... Check back to find out what my newest electronic toy is, I think everyone will appreciate it.

Well, my hosting service had a power failure and I lost some of the information on my site, not too much, but enough so that I keep finding things that are missing. I had most of the stuff saved locally, so its not a big loss, but a little annoying. For those of you who did not see my Christmas picture, please check it out in the 3D Images section, it is my best so far. I have also posted my Acklar Productions site, a more professional looking site where I can distribute my games. Check it out if you are interested in downloading my latest game, Cubix, a Tetris remake.

I've finally finished all the admin changes I wanted to implement on the site, allowing me to essentially update almost any aspect of the site on the fly, without having to actually use an html editor. I'm adding some new quotes and links to the site, and working on a new electronics article.

I've been doing some major updates on the backend of my site, improving the coding so that I can create and edit news, movies, quotes and more just by logging in to the site. Soon I will add a members section, nothing fancy there, mostly just to see if I can do it. I will also be hosting Scott's Schmuckus on my site, so check back for that soon too.

I've spent the last week or so working on putting together some scripts that will allow me to add/modify the news on this site on the fly over the web from anywhere, its not totally done, but it is well on its way. Once it is completely done, I'll add the code that I used to my Programs section so others can use it too if they want.

I got a little bored this week, so I started messing around with Windows XP. Well, after causing my computer to not start up, even in safe mode, and then fixing that, I was able to modify the theme of the desktop, the login screen and even the boot up display. This was all possible from a really cool web site that has plenty of premade free choices at ThemeXP. Just make sure you be careful before you play around with system files!

So its Valentine's Day and I'm updating my website, call me what you will, call me a loser, but I have got lots of free time at the moment, so oh well. I added a new 3D Image, very easily might I add with my new script that displays them. I think you'll really appreciate this one, make sure you check it out.

Wow, I just go through phases where I want to work on my site, to when I completely ignore it. I just redid the 3D Imaging section so that the page is created automatically. Basically, it just looks in the image folder and displays each image, sorted by the most recent at the start, this saves me a lot of tedious coding for each image I add.

Wow, that was a really long span between updates. Well, I've been busy, Warcraft III came out and well, its an amazing game and I haven't been able to stop playing. I'm actually only making this update because a friend of mine is playing on my laptop. Check out my new 3D Image, it is amazing.

I've added the info on my new laptop. I just got the Toshiba Satellite 5105-S607 laptop and it is really sweet. This thing is fast, it sports a 1.7 GHz Pentium 4 processor, combine that with some amazing grafics and a beautiful display and you have an awesome machine. Read up all about it in my Electronics section.

Again, sorry for taking so long to do any updates. I added a new 3D image as you can see above, as well as updating my movie list. I'll also put up the info on my new laptop after I play with it for a little, so check that out too. I also created a Photos section where I moved the World Trade Center Memorial and hopefully soon will put up more photos.

I added a new section, Countdowns. Here you can check timer countdowns to various events, such as birthdays, end of school, etc. I also updated my DVD Collection and added some new links, I'm hoping to create another 3D image soon... we'll see.

I've taken a couple of shots of the World Trade Center Memorial and added them to the site. I put the best two up for all to see, I think they came out pretty good seeing as it is difficult to take pictures at night, especially at great distances. Share them with everyone and show your grief for the 9/11 tragedy.

I went snowboarding today for my first time, and let me tell you... it was awesome! Dude, if you've never gone snowboarding before, you have to try it. It was so much fun, I can't wait to go again. After I got used to falling over, it was great. Even though it was the only thing that I did over spring break that was different, it was a lot of fun and made up for an otherwise boring break.

Added some of my new movies to the DVD Collection section and I would just like to say, if you like role playing games... GET FINAL FANTASY X! This game is unbelievable and I cannot stop playing. This game is even worth buying a Playstation 2, I recommend it to everyone.

I added a whole new quotes section and have redone the the feel of the home page. I also now have random quotes at the top of the page that pulls a random one from my quotes' list. The code for this should be added to my Programs section pretty soon...

Designed and programmed the new counter at the bottom of the page, I think it came out pretty well and so far so good. Its just a hit counter, so every time the page is loaded it increments, but hey, it still works for me. You can snag the code in my new section Programs.

I got my digital camera! Woohoo! I got the Canon Powershot S300, although its charging right now and I haven't had a chance to use it, I'm really excited. I've also redone some of the pages on the site, added my DVD collection as well. There will be a lot of updates in the next few days as I have a lot of free time and there's a bunch of useless information to put on the site.
